Listening

You are now going to listen to a sports science student giving a presentation about a project. Listen to the listening and complete exercises 5 to 7 pg 265. Once you have finished you will need to share your responses with your classmate and check.

Post Listening 

In groups carry out a WebQuest about the following sports

  1. Football (group 1)
  2. tennis  (group 2)
  3. rugby (group 3)
  4. ice-hockey (group 4)
  5. baseball (group 5)
  6. volleyball (group 6)

Your WebQuest must cover the following questions

  • What is this sport?
  • What equipment do you need?
  • Where do you play it?
  • Would you like to play this sport

From the information found in your presentation create a presentation and present it to the class

Lets practice using the “Present Perfect Tense”. First, use a blank piece of paper then write 5 past tense sentences about what you have done during the vacation.  Share your paper with your friend and get your friend to re-write your sentences into the present-perfect form. Share your present-perfect form sentences with the class
