Now that you have listened to a listening about inventions lets think about some inventions that we know about. In groups think about an invention and create a presentation to covers the following questions:
What is the best invention?
Why do you think it is the best invention?
What can it do? Does it help people?
What could you do to improve this invention?
Present your presentation to the class, Make sure that everyone in your group is involved.

Because the listening is about taekwondo work in groups and carry out a WebQuest about taekwondo. Create a presentation and then present it to the class your presentation should cover the following areas:

When did it start?
Do you have to wear special clothing or use special equipment?
Would you like to try this sport?
Before listening you should think about who is talking and why. Sometimes people are “biased”: they will have a special reason to agree or disagree with something. For example, a jockey will say horse racing is the most interesting sport but a footballer will choose football. So if you think about the person, this can give you information about what they might think before they speak. You can then listen for words that help you understand their opinions.
